What we can help with
We're a general family practice offering both NHS and private care. If you're not sure what you need, book a check-up and we'll talk you through the options and costs before anything starts.
On the NHS
NHS dental care in England is charged in three bands. You pay one charge per course of treatment, however many visits it takes.
- Band 1Check-ups
- An examination, X-rays if you need them, advice on looking after your teeth and gums, and a scale and polish if it's clinically needed.
- Band 2Repairs
- Everything in Band 1, plus fillings, root canal treatment and taking out teeth.
- Band 3Crowns, bridges and dentures
- Everything in Bands 1 and 2, plus work made in a lab, such as crowns, bridges and dentures.
Private treatments
- Teeth whiteningHome whitening trays made for your teeth, with a check-up first to make sure it's right for you.
- Hygienist visitsA longer, deeper clean to remove staining and build-up, with time to talk through your routine.
- Clear alignersNear-invisible trays that straighten teeth gradually. We'll tell you honestly if you're suitable.
- Tooth-coloured fillingsWhite fillings that match your teeth, for front or back teeth.
- DenturesFull and partial dentures, made to fit comfortably and adjusted until they do.
Children are seen on the NHS, and it's free
When we have space, we register new NHS patients aged 17 and under. NHS dental treatment is free for anyone under 18, and for under-19s in full-time education.
Bring children in as soon as their first teeth appear. Early visits are short and gentle, and they help a child get used to the chair long before they ever need treatment.
